This year at Homecoming, I will be donating a 4x4 4L80e. It will have all mods, Transgo Hd2(latest version), BW High Energy clutches everywhere but the 4th and overrun packs. Those will be Raybestos blues. It will have a billet hub, input shaft and special 2nd gear arrangement. With the billet hub, input shaft and custom 2nd gear setup, you'll be looking at a trans alone worth in excess of $5700.
You will have to have a special input shaft for the transfer case and a Prime Gears syty 4L80e install kit to use this in a syty. This is a big HP arrangement. This will be able to be used in a full size as a replacement or a syty as the indestructable upgrade.
So whether you have a syty or a 4x4 fullsize that's boosted with nitrous, this is for you.
As said before this IS being donated to the Homecoming committe AND...................
THE TRANSMISSION WILL BE PRESENT AND YOU STICK IT IN YOUR VEHICLE AND DRIVE AWAY WITH IT. You just have to sign a form showing receipt of the trans.
One other "gotcha".....YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN THIS TRANSMISSION. This is the LAST transmission I will be donating for ANY event and I wanted it to be a good one.
The Homecoming committee representatives will give cost of raffle tickets. This will not be a door prize. You will HAVE to purchase tickets to be elegible to be in the drawing to win this transmission.
Why am I doing this? I want your butts THERE. This hobby NEEDS your support. Bring your family. I was there last year and it was the best meet/show I'd ever been to.
I will also be doing a tech session on 80e teardown and buildup and what to look for and special tips to make it easier. Once you see the inside of an 80e there will be no doubt it is the answer for the big HP guys and those that just want to never worry about it again.
