Craigslist, white no cladding Ty

it might be a repost, if so, I am sorry, but I just found it interesting. cladding and roof rack delete. I think I have read in a post there was one sent out of PAS w/o cladding? Someone who has carfax should call the seller and ask some questions then get the VIN if he says it came that way. Again sorry if it's a repost and if this is the wrong spot to post this.

That truck has been for sale for so long. I think it was at 17 thousand at one time. If i remember correctly it is a original typhoon and from what the owner states it came out of the factory without cladding. I almost sure others with chime in but i have to say i feel bad for it in one way. Seems like no one wants it but it looks clean. Thats a 5-6 thousand dollar truck if the VIN is 100% typhoon. Even if so I still would prefer to get a TY with cladding especially at that price.

for 5 a 6 k i would rather have that truck, instead of the worn out crappy cladding that will need a respray at that price.
damn...put on some steel rims. and a trailer hitch. and you will have the ultimate sleeper..

I talked to Kevin Thursday. I didn't ask for the full VIN but the last four digits are 0671. I think he got it from Westin Pontiac near Gresham, OR and before that it was sold from the Chev Connection in Portland. Kevin believes it came from the factory without cladding. My good source of information said it came from the factory with cladding and one of the owners had it removed. Either way Kevin said the photos don't do it justice. He mentioned that he bought a 930 Turbo Porsche last week and he needs to sell the Typhoon.

Its not a bad looking creature. Thats just a lot of money for it. Im not sure if a regualar looking mint condition Ty would bring that price in our current economic position. It seems like the price of our trucks is on a downward trend.

0671 isnt listed in the sportmachine registery, does that mean its not a Ty?
