tunerpro >> myself

Well I got a major ownage by tunerpro today. Created a large log last night but thought I lost it since my battery died as I pulled into the driveway. Then today I repeated the trip to get some good logging in for my tune. Go to export it and realize that it isnt there again. Well come to find out I reached the file size limit. Why you ask. I never made a new adl file over the last few weeks and it only allows 25 sessions on a single adl file.

Here I thought the adl was a template file and each session was a different log. Guess sometimes the easy things slip past me. Guess I will make a new adl a little more often now. Just figured some people would get a good laugh from this I know I did.

TunerPro can be a little flaky during playback.... your data might be there....

When you push F4 to bring up the record/playback box, click on the dropdown arrow over in the right side center of the screen. Select the playback session that matches your date... it will be the last one in the list. Then click 'play' and your data will probably be there.

If you don't go through this process. the counter will just sit and flicker between "0" and "1".

Give it a try :D

The other thing I do is keep a shortcut on my desktop to my datalogging and BIN files. Whenever I datalog I immediately go in and copy/paste my starting log then rename it so I always have a record of the datalogging run that matches the BIN being tested. Is very helpful when you go back and start using the difference finder in TP to figure out how changes in one BIN compare to another.

Re: tunerpro >> myself

I have easy access to everything but this time I was just dumb about things. I was going to the lastest session but it kept being called #25 and the date and time was not changing. I realized then I was using it incorrectly. Now I just make a new adl everytime I do a tuning session and using the smaller session inside for when I stop and make changing.

Thanks for the tips Rob, most I already follow but might help someone else from not making this mistake
