In the video I describe how the internal wastegate operates and how to adjust it. I also talk about installing and adjusting a manual BoostValve controller.

Highlights of the video are at 5:00 where I disconnect the wastegate actuator and make a WOT run from a 2nd gear roll, and then repeat the same thing but with the wastegate reconnected and the Boostvalve set for 20 PSI. :D

I spent the last 2-3 days working on this video to enter the TuneyFish GT35R contest. Shooting/editing video proved to be a much bigger challenge than I anticipated!

Hey Don I looked and the latest vote is by "Psychosy" at the bottom of the page. I think for a vote to count you have to post a Comment at the bottom with "+5" somewhere in it.

I don't think the vote will count if you just rate it "5 Star" at the top.:dunno:

Great video. I really liked the demonstration and it looks like boost is coming on nice and quick, can you imagine what it would be like with a GT35R?. :tup:

I'm hoping I get to find out first hand!! :woot:
Being limited to 15-20 PSI on the PT51 is too restrictive..

for me: very informative. looks like i'm gonna be busy messing with my manual boost controller and wastegate. thank you, will try to vote for that video.
another thanx goes for the adobe 9 install. couldn't watch it until i did the install

Thanks guys for all your votes, and I'm glad so many people found the video worth watching. The guys on TurboBuick liked it, too.

BTW it's confusing on the site but the "star rating" has NOTHING to do with the contest votes!! If you want your vote to count, you MUST post a text comment containing "+5" like you see others doing. Just clicking the "5 star rating" has no effect on the contest.
