At what point do you need larger fuel rails?

I'm not talking stock rails. I'm talking billet rails. I notice on RPM's website that he offers two rails, one .500 and the other .625/

At what point/power level would you need that extra .125 of size in a fuel rail?

Yeah.....it's gotta be some serious power to require 5/8" instead of 1/2" diameter fuel rail. I'd actually be surprised if there was really that big of a difference in fuel delivery in between the two.

the 1/2" id rail taps to 8an, while the 5/8" taps to 10an. We use the 10an mostly on anything with 160# injectors or making 1500+hp. Larger injectors still firing in batch fire mode can benefit with the 5/8" id since all the injectors dump will simultaneously. In any case i don't think anyone here needs the 5/8" id on a syty application unless you are running E85 or pure methanol.

buddy you will need the smaller ones not the ones for the 160* injectors.

the injectors you have will go 9.30s to 9.40s.

no need in paying for the bigger ones if so i can get you some.
