hey mike. hope all is well with you and your nasty lsx ty.

its been a while but i was wondering if you've done anything with the motor i brought you this summer? i was hoping we could make some kind of deal with the front facing sheet metal upper intakes you have.

my truck is coming out really nice but really slow. ive been dealing with some issues with my home that has been taking up all my time and money (dept of buildings...don't ask)

if my memory serves me right, you coated all my parts and paid for the black powder. i paid for the gas to/from PA. with that being said, what do you think about the front facing upper intake? let me know what you think. my friend is gonna do the wiring next week and i would like to button up the top of the motor (ie upper intake, dist etc)

PM, email, text or call at your convience.

    later,
    domenick

Mike, where does your engine pick up the oip pressure from? Before or after supply to the turbo's? There is also an issue with LS1's with low oil pressure that I believe has something to do with the oil pickup. Maybe an o-ring that does not seat properly? I'm not an LS1 guru (yet) but have built many a small block. I picked up this oil pressure thing from watching Horsepower TV. They had an issue with the LS1 camaro they redid the engine on and had a pressure problem. Found out the prob. when they took it apart. Was a quick fix. Maybe you can watch the episode online. I hope it is not a true engine problem (ie bearing clearance). If your oil press. sending unit is before turbo supply, you should still have good pressure there. btw, helmets are a pia because they are not flat but so far so good.
