    Gents,
Lunch Money didn't make the trip and it got in trouble at about 600 feet. I have to change the fuel system around some and see what the out come is. It did however run almost identical as the time slip posted above. So with that I am not sure what to expect the next time out.

  • Sy644,
You need to get the caps put back on the block and check the line bore. Take a picture of the first and second main cap (from the front) and post it. The amount of heat/damage that I see the mains of the block will most likely need to be replaced and have it honed. Please due yourself...

    JRoy,
I am also curious to see what it will run out the back door. Just hope we have enough injector in it. The other problem is the truck really needs a stand alone to really get the tune up right. Talked to Eric Marshal a few weeks back at a Buick meet in NC and he is working on a ECM for...

    Hey Justin,
That is the same information that I found. Guess I will have to tear it apart to validate. Good to hear from you and are you still in Arizona? Give me a call when you get a chance so we can catch up. (228) 323-3364

    Mike,
Might have ran a little better but truck was a little on the fat side not sure of a 6.40 because that would be stout for a 3950 pound street truck. We will find out what is in it hopefully on the 15th of June as that is the next time we will be going to a Sanctioned racing event wink wink...

    Moser axles

    Gents,
Been searching all morning and can't find a diffident answer on a Moser part number for our trucks. Did not want to tear it apart to validate the spline count and axle size. Is part number A 102813 a direct replacement for our trucks?
    Thanks,
    Bob...

    Gents,
A bigger turbo is not a guarantee for a faster elapse time. It is more about the balance of torque, horsepower, and the TUNE. I have spent the last year trying to find that magic setup and it can be difficult. A 10 second pass in a street/race truck is still pretty impressive no matter...

    Gents,
The PTE 64/66 Gen 2 is a nice street turbo also but you need to have good boost control. Tune is really close to as it picked up almost 25 MPH from the 1/8 to the 1/4. Really nice lap even if the truck is light.

Good job and that is a nice lap. Do you care to provide details on the build?
