I have an rpm stage 1 turbo which is 50mm. Should of gone bigger but was scared of Lag . This thing spoils really fast . I hit 2nd gear before the 60ft mark at the track . Btw, what fuel filter do you use with the Stock fuel lines when you use e85. Or if you have different lines what size did you u...

My turbotweak chip is for E85 only. Just wondering if I should add more fuel and timing and see what happens. All I have done is set the afr and let it do its thing. What turbo is on your truck?...

  • I have a turbo tweak chip. So, I have been adjusting the rod in the past before I went to the higher spring. I added more boost in the turbo tweak chip by 2 lbs, but I didn't see a difference when making a pass and watching the data log. I might have to use a manual boost controller to get the boost...

In all fairness, this truck as been E85 for the past three years. In 2018 I changed from 60 lb injectors to 80 injectors and swapped to an aluminum driveshaft. I did not have time to race last year after I swapped those two. My 60 lb injectors were maxing out with 16-17 lbs of boost. This year...

You responded to my boost in different gears post. Thought it might be easier to ask. Doesn't lengthening the rod also decrease boost pressure?

    Thanks again for the help!

  • Thanks for the response. So lengthening the rod will help with producing consistent boost pressure due to the higher spring in the wastegate?

    Syclone #1385 Stock turbo times

Just an update on my project stock turbo Syclone. Ran the truck for the first time in a 2 years at the strip. It ran its best times to date of 12.3's and previous years were 12.50's. The truck picked up almost 1.5 MPH in the traps. Stock Turbo E85. 16-18lbs of boost. 16 lbs first gear, 17 lbs...

    Boost Increases in gear

I got my Sy out for the first time this year for preparation for upcoming spring and summer racing. In short, I noticed under WOT first gear tops about 16 psi. 2nd goes to 18 psi and 3rd gear hits 20 psi. I have not adjusted the wastegate arm yet. Just drove it. Last year I did change the spring in...
