  • Plastic welded the tabs to the inside of the cladding. On the two tabs that were a little more busted up I used some metal strips to reinforce the tab.

Hi Mike, i have been a little busy. I work out of town for periods at a time and will be home (Vancouver) in a couple of days. If you are still interested let me know and we can talk.

Some details in the meen time.

The truck runs, but like all Sy's has some issues.

The is electrical work that needs to be done. Speedo intermittenatly dosent work, Temp gauge spikes to over heat (truck has not boiled over or ran into that area ever). Some of the speaker wiring has been hacked up and im assuming is part of the issue.

The body is pretty straight. There is a couple of smal surface rust. This happened when I moved out west here and stored the truck. My dad parked it at a place that i had used before but this time i seemed to have gotten a bad garage. The body cladding needs some work.

Mechanically, the truck is good. I bought new Michelin Pilots for it before i moved out west. The longest i had driven with it was on Vancouver Island, so they are pretty much brand new. The truck needs some adjustments. It stalls out when you put it in reverse, (That might be the throtle cable to transmission cable)

I love the truck but dont have anywhere to work on it, and dont know if i want to restore it to original or do something wicked with it. Im not desperate to let it go but would make my life easier if i got rid of it.

Sorry for the delay, and let me know if you're still looking for one.
    Hi Suny,

I never heard back if you were still interested in selling your truck and if yo had details and pictures and a location.

    Thanks

    Mike
