Re: rocker adjustment

I checked my valve adjustments with engine the first time I did rockers. I warmed the engine up to temp so the oil was thinner and then removed the valve covers one at a time. I used a piece of...

Re: Junk in the trunk

I had not thought about the voltage drop for charging performance. I will have to check the difference out some time on my truck. The large gauge wire in theory should have lower resistance which...

Re: Dogs!

I wasn't always a dog person. My wife is dog person, so I had to make a compromise early on. I probably wouldn't have gotten a dog on my own, but I do love them and they become part of your family....

Re: 25 years!

I interpret the rule as being able to drive it once a week that didn't involve going to car event. This is similar to collector issurance and how I drive my Syclone anyways.

Re: Turbo/boost question

Re: NATS volunteers - Sign Up Here!

I will likely be around on Thursday. I will volunteer to help on the registration table or maybe the track depending on my decision to race or not. I probably should do the track because it isn't the...

Re: Official Date & Location

I am planning to attend. If crude oil prices continue to stay down, it will help keep the tranportation costs down for those of us driving long distances. This is looking like the year of cheap gas....

Re: Canadian Dollar has tanked, good time to send Ty back to the US?

I would guess labor rates in Canada don't change or change in proportion to USD vs CAD. This still increase his buying power in CA. I would argue that the gains from a strong USD have been more than...

Re: VORTEC heads?

It depends on how big of hole was made. The engine & injectors make enough noise that it would probably mask it. If the hole need to be so large that is noticeable audible, you could also tap it for...

Re: White Color change on Sy, would it really affect value?
