Re: Ecu and engine harness swap No, Its not my daily driver. I can see some of the plugs are different. May be easier with stand alone system.

I'm building a turbo 4.3 to put in my 88 gmc s15 jimmy. I have a ecu and engine harness out of a typhoon and have a few questions. 1 will the harness swap work? 2 my speedo is cable driven and the typhoon is electric. will this cause a problem with the ecu? I was wanted to use code 59.

Re: Truck Dies Randomly First thing I would check is the IAC valve. Take it out and clean it also clean the throttle body and ports for the IAC.
