Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

The square connector in the pic is the one that melted. It looked like one corner burned (bulged and black). I should have taken a picture of the burned one. I can't remember the corner otherwise we could compare and see which wire got hot. Either way, this pump shouldn't be wired through a...

Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

Here are some pics of my install modifying the bulkhead connector when I installed the 1st Aeromotive: I'm thinking of getting the full Racetronix kit and a new OEM FSU, keep it in the closet for the next time. My Racetronix wire relay upgrade is REAL old. Before they sold their own branded...

Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

Yep. It had the Racetronix kit and the pigtail the Aeromotive came with repinned to the bulkhead connector instead of crimped on the original little wires. I'm sure it's crimped on now. I don't believe these guys had attention to that detail. I haven't had any luck the last two times with Walbro...

WTB original aluminum fuel pressure relief valve cap

Looking for a mint original aluminum fuel pressure relief valve cap. Send pics top and bottom. A butter-finger mechanic lost mine in the engine bay.

Roger. I don't see oil pressure anything on the bill. Just new FSU and Misc. I'm back at the shop from picking it up. We're right now looking for the fuel rail aluminum cap which he dropped and replaced it with a small plastic one that couldn't get more than one thread. I immediately saw it when...

Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

I think he said oil pressure sensor/switch AND fuel pump. They're working on it now and I don't get it until monday. Funny thing is, after all these miles on two road trips I decided to get some stuff from Sportmachines. window trim, seals, full Trans cooler w lines, wheel orings kit, swaybar...

Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

As long as the pre-filter on the pump is still on, the filter should be good. It's the AEM donger filter, installed same time as the pump. They should be looking at the Ty today.

Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

Could be. Pump is an Aeronotive Stealth 11569 that I put in @22K miles on the od. I think I'm a bit over 46K now.

Probably have ignition issue or bad gas

Finally gave up the ghost while I was getting stuff from an Amazon Locker. The day before it fell asleep while I was turning left at a light. Started right up after I put it in Park and cranked it again. Checked everything. All fluids perfect. oil at hash, looks clean. Trans at mark while...

My bad for getting worried about the gauge getting halfway. Just not something i see normally. I didn't know the fan was seizing. It's been good since the fan change. Central Texas is brutal, but it's been overcast and a bit lower temps for the last couple days. The gauge has been on the first...

Might have found what was causing the seemingly hot engine (not hot coolant temp on dash): Started to feel a drag in Vegas, heading to Texas. Progressively got worse every city I got to. Wasn't bad until I got to Fort Stockton. Temp was almost halfway on dash and the car was puttering barely...

Coolent is always top of both caps. I'll give you the last two examples since I've been in this hotel 3 weeks. 1. Sometime end of March I startup the car, been sitting in parking garage since 5/6 pm day before, no smoke. Drive @ 10 min to supermarket, shop for short time (<10 min), start the...

March 16th milage was 41528. Today April 16 it's 42619. But road tripping is about 300 a day sometimes. So far it's been OK. No whisps of smoke. Oil is still clear and slippery. It does fart a white cloud on startup oddly 1 stop after morning startup and very rarely. Once or twice a month. My...

Sounds like it's just blow-by then. It does have some oil vapor coming through that I take port next to the IAC. I removed a filter canister I had on that hose because it was a PITA, but it was capturing a good amount. It's about 2K since I last changed the oil. Always at 3K and always Mobile1...

If you have access to a 3D Printer, I designed replacement bushings for our tailgate strikers

This guy on YouTube printed these out (@ 7 min in) and it worked well for him too. Freakn' awesome. That's what it's all about. I'm still using my 1st print and it's still solid.

@ 85-95 MPH for 90 Miles The dipstick has whips of smoke, not plumes, when I pull it out @ 1 hour + on the freeway @75 MPH driving. It for sure gets hot, coolant on the other hand is perfect 1st mark - 2mm above climbing a hill. I think a small cooler that diverts to it @ 250* would be enough...

Looking into getting an oil cooler. The one I had in the 90's was a @ 1'x1' oil cooler passenger side (battery area) with a small Spal. This was spliced into the remote oil filter hose driver side. What are your guys setups?

Has anyone seen a blower motor with a good long blade fan cage?

I got one from NAPA (Murrey) and its highest setting is like the originals 2nd click setting. The fan cage is black plastic and the blades are 1/2 as long as the original. Original are straight @1/2 way and curve the other 1/2 giving it more surface area. Looking at the pics of AC Delco 15-80386...

Good source for a copper heater core?

Yeah. My AC guy said there was only one place he could get a copper one, for a car he was working on, and it was US made, very expensive, and complete dogshit. I think the one I replaced in the Blk/Gry Ty I sold was Spectra from SummitRacing. I remember it was difficult to get the silver straps...
