Hooker BlackHeart sells a direct fit. IMO they work great. I've had them on my trucks and never had a problem.

No such thing as a stupid question..;) From what I know, Front and Rear bumpers are the same (sy,ty,sgt) Front fender cladding is the same ( sy,ty,sgt) evrything else from a Ty will more than likely not fit a sy,sgt...(corners,rear arches, etc) however I'm pretty sure everything from a sy/sgt...

@gmemony2 - it gets mounted with double sided tape Velcro or Self tappers. I did self tappers. I did receive it, paint it, and installed in the same day😝. Came out really good.

Tim, received it today and sent back the other one. Installed and Mannnnn this looks so much better. Glad I went with it. Thanks again for the quick response!

Remove your passenger side wheel and inner fender well for easier access. I've done it twice and it helps for sure. just a bit of advice;)

I have a pass rear corner and pass rear arch from my Ty. I purchased replacements and do not need these. They've been repaired and in need of more repair. I'd rather give them away than throw them in the trash ( not worth much to me but may be to some one else). Prefer local pick up.

Cool(y) I ended up putting one with a 4g cable and battery in stock location. I didn't clock mine, but overall worked out perfect on the install. Hopefully I won't have to send mine back;).

Ive been wanting to swap one myself. Been reading this and wonder if the stock wiring is not suitable for the extra amps ( wire gets hot) and maybe that caused it to fail? Possibly like you mentioned the relocation of battery ( which I also was thinking of doing) could of caused something...

Any 1st Gen S10/S15/Blazer-Jimmy or Old's Bravada should be it. Just make sure its a tilt.

... oil smelled burnt and 2nd gear lost power. TV cable seems to have been slipping ( teeth on clicker weren't holding) at the throttle body. maybe refill with new oil/filter and put a new tv cable if that one isn't working and drive it to see how it feels.
