    Decelaration Surging

Re: Decelaration Surging So the issue didn't exist before the gauge install? Can you disconnect it to see if that cures the problem then work it out from there?

Until she has done a tranny pull, engine pull, motor mount swap, distributor change, compression test, setting timing and valve lash, half shaft pull, prop shaft R&R, coilover install, ball joints and tie rods, Putman arm swap, she should hold off until she can make an...

Idle/drive transition and bogging with the TC locked

Re: Idle/drive transition and bogging with the TC locked Thanks guys - appreciate the input. I have a slightly more updated tune now and the truck drives a lot better. The bucking from the TC has gone and now the truck pulls like a freight train with the TC locked in 4th gear. At around 5-7...

    RHD Saudi Syclone in Australia

Re: RHD Saudi Syclone in Australia I'm sure I'll be corrected but I thought there weren't any. There may have been 4 but pretty sure it's a typo. The bit that I just discovered was that a LHD car in Aus is illegal so I now need to figure out what the hell to do with mine. Look at the prices...

Idle/drive transition and bogging with the TC locked

Re: Idle/drive transition and bogging with the TC locked No progress to report - maybe someone can help? What XDF and ADX file do I need for a Code58 .bin in TP5? I can log the ALDL but I can't get the tracing bubble so I can't work out which cell to adjust and tune the truck. Is it possible...

Idle/drive transition and bogging with the TC locked

I'm finally driving my truck after 4 years off the road and it's awesome but it could be a lot better. I'm getting a lot of help with Code59 but for now I have a pretty good Code58 tune that is working well though I have a couple of issues and figured I may as well ask here so maybe someone...

    Turbo advice

Re: Turbo advise Re: Turbo advise I have that turbo and it is excellent. I have an external WG controlled by a Greddy Profec B2 system. I need to dial it in. The WG is a Tial 42 mm I think. The exhaust vents back into the DP. You may need a spacer for the stock manifolds and also to grind a...

Transmission rebuild ( hard parts )

Re: Transmission rebuild ( hard parts ) Your photos are all upside down. You are indeed missing the selector cable bracket. It goes next to the shift lever. It's long and narrow with a fixture to hold the cable. I don't think that suspension mount is a spacer. It's so you can bolt up a...

    Rear bracket for CS144 alternator

Re: Rear bracket for CS144 alternator I already own a CS144. I was trying to save some money seeing as I was worried my alternator is going out and don't want to spend $150 over here. :)

    Rear bracket for CS144 alternator

Re: Rear bracket for CS144 alternator Phil, could you take another picture for me please? The link is dead and i am very curious about this as I need to do this. The other question for anyone that has tackled this is: is it possible to go back to a stock alt with this modification or are you...

    Slowly backing down the driveway

Re: Slowly backing down the driveway If it had failed open, the truck would have rolled faster. Your viscous clutch is working perfectly. Itnis rolling slowly because the clutch isn't locked by the prop shaft. As mentioned above, not having the prop shaft in is your problem.
