    molded heater hose...unicorn?

I just used heater hose that was not molded and had no issues. The one that I replaced was not defective. But being as old as it was I swapped it out. I probably still have the original.

    fan shroud needed

It very well could be different on 2WD and 4WD trucks Dave. The only S10 type trucks that I ever worked on were 4WD/AWD, so I didn't know about the 2WD shroud. As good as your memory is, I would bet money they are different.

    fan shroud needed

Here is a link to LMC truck. On the page in the link it shows shrouds. https://www.lmctruck.com/1982-05-chevy-gmc/cooling-system/cst-1982-94-radiator-components

I didn't know the lower shroud was different on the 2WD vs 4WD.

    fan shroud needed

Will you only settle on an OEM fan shroud? If not reproduction shrouds can be purchased. I have used them and they are pretty good.

    Cams

Dave, Camshaft design is something that I know almost nothing about. By looking at the cam card it does look like it would be zero overlap. It was designed by a person I talked to at Comp Cams. I don't know what that is worth. The truck seemed to run well when it was not under boost. Starting...

    Tacoma X-Runner

Most of the concepts look ugly in my opinion.

Feed back on rear swaybar, steering shaft, quick ratio steering box upgrade.

I have had trucks and done all of those mods. The sway bar you will never know any difference. Same with the steering shaft. I would only change it if the original was warn. The quick steering is kinda nice. But none are worth what the price you will lose in the drop in value in your truck for...

    Cams

It all depends on what you got in your engine and how much power you want to make. Custom cams cost the same as an off the shelf from comp cams. I will attach a file of the one I used.

Needed: hood, front bumper and grill

The hood and fenders are the same as an s-10. Here is a link to a grill that is paintable like the original. https://www.lmctruck.com/1982-05-chevy-gmc/stock/cst-1991-94-grille-and-components-for-gmcThe difference is where the letters are installed it is solid behind the letters on the...

    Hot Rod Garage - Typhoon

I would have thought they would have made sure everything was operating properly before they aired the show. It sure looked bad to me.

    Hot Rod Garage - Typhoon

This was a mess. I found a video of the show. Wait until you see the 0-60 times they got out of the truck after they worked on it.

    Solid motor mounts

If I were to replace mounts again, I would give these a try.

    Solid motor mounts

Those are the first solid mounts that I used along with the frame pads like in the link that I posted.

    Solid motor mounts

I think the SBC must be different. RPM used to sell frame mounts to change out so the Moroso motor mounts could be used on out trucks. Edit: I looked at RPM's site. Here is a link to the frame pads that I was referring to...
