First AWD turbo LS1 swap

Looking for 1000hp / pump gas / Alky Injection / A/C / Full interior.

Getting ready to start the swap

Custom built 4L80E

Donor LQ4

Same engine the next day. Cleaned up nice

In the truck with custom pan and motor mounts to check clearances

Set the turbo (S400) in place to check placement.

Swapped out intakes

Tubing came in for exhaust

Here is what we got done this weekend

How much is it costing you to build the headers? also are you keeping the engine stock lq4 specs? Very interesting project. Wish I had the funds to do it.

I know he has ~$700 or so in material so far, and I told him to order another V-band clamp.

I haven't given him the bill for labor yet, I was hoping he couldn't pay and I would just impound the truck. (I threatened hardman with his ty of doing that before )

Header price not known yet. Not finished. Block is getting ARP head studs and Comp beehive springs. Gonna push it this summer to see what I can squeeze out of it. I will be building a LSX with forged internals for a Winter '08 swap. Looking for 1500hp with that setup.

Truck is back home in the garage. Now I can get to putting it together. Pics to come over the next week. Motor/trans/transfer case will all be put in.
