Re: New record in awd??
Actually, a lot of competition NHRA tracks go uphill after the traps.
This one looks to be slight downhill until the 1/8, then a slight grade up to the traps, then heavier grade. Look at the fence line... takes a lot of the optical illusion out of it. Also, hard to tell grade when you can't see the overall lay of the land. I once saw a 3ft putt apparently break uphill.... until I noticed the whole course was built into the hill side.

Re: New record in awd??
Ok, fella´s, sorry about the delay in reports.. So FUN U "chipped in" and showed intresst in the race
This day (saturday) promised good wheather and it realy was, Time for first run we (as proven on the street test´s) was afraid to break loos the tires so we did go conservative on launch boost 8 psi, Sy hooks to good (in reality no power) and feels and seems lame out of the hole then the map sensor fuked up and boost was gone?? we managed a 9,2@ 155 Mph. What the F/&#"%(/%CK happened?? short of "fixi´n time" we had to line up again almost direktly, never found the bug, just got on to next round and not werry much time to reset launchboost but we opted for some more psi 9 Run 2 was as the first lame in the "hole" picked up some time but someting did´nt feel rigt so Robert hesitated some, and right he was, the left front drive axle had jumped out of place ruined the seal. Still a new 9,2@155Mph Whell this time we was prepared som up on jackstands and under he went and we managed (Robert then) to change the seal and axle and on the line again, this time with some "luck" (Track timer broke down due elektikal powerline trouble so we could only run one lane) this gave us time to do some more fiddling on the boost settings Third run better out of hole (still only 1,58 at 60 foot) and the Sy seemd a lithle powerless out on track, but a 9,0@156Mph something starts to cooking yeahh This was the last run for the day so we started to get ready to go home, when track officials told us everyboddy would get one more lap NOW, before the NOIS PERMISSION runs out (about 30 minutes left of tracktime) so out on line again with no proper time to adjust annything AGAIN.. 4 run of the day and we did some more "desperat" launch boost fiddling and NOW it did wake up this was what we wanted to see on friday that rained away.. This run was more that we aimed for with a 1,48 60 foot a 5,8@126Mph 1/8 but a lithle powerless 9.0@156Mph again, end of story.. The day was a succes despite no record time, A Danish EVO was here to "run down" Robert a 2000LBS 1000Hp real race car with carbon fiber on every inc on the body that was possible, Realy nice and friendly chapp BUT was out for Roberts "hair", Robert left im in a pile of dust, a 9,5 was his best.. And Robert won his class AGAIN.. We have learned alot about some parts (one is dont go cheap on MAP, U get what u pay for) and the wing IS ON FOR EVER We´ve also learned to stop tuning at the street because, when the output on power is TOOOO much for the streets... its a lame horse on a good track Robert is cutting up a video to "hit" the forum soon. And sad as it is we might have only one more chance to run this season, its almost over here now

Re: New record in awd??
No record this weekend unfortunally. But finally it starts to move in the right direction. This weekend we didn´t get enough runs. But at least we have a very good baseline until next time. The best time this weekend was: 9.04 That is not so bad. We hoped to run 8´s but I know that we´re gonna run 8´s very soon, just give us the opportunity

Re: New record in awd??
Robert the truck looks and sounds great. I'm even starting to like the wing a little. Hope you get the boost sorted out next time out. Did you step up to the 212lb inj. with the E85 from the 160's and are you still locking up the converter. The engine rpm dosen't seem to be coming down on the shifts like before. Good luck in the near future.

Re: New record in awd??
Truck leaves very flat; front doesn't lift and rear doesn't squat. Even the bumps in the track don't seem to upset it too much. Very good work on the suspension. The wing seems to keep it rock solid on the long end, even if it does eat up a few miles per hour. Best wishes in your future endeavors to beat your own record.
