LS1 Ebrake kits...New GP

Ok, well since jjorgensen52 isnt able to offer these cable and hardware kits any longer, and i know there is some interest out there for them, i have taken the bull by the horns so to speak and wanted to make these kits available again. As i wanted/needed another kit for my GT.

Anyways, the parts will be every bit the same in quality as what was offered before, i will be using the same jigs for the axle brackets, same supplier for the cables and hardware. Only thing that i cant offer at this point, which is subject to change if i can find a good deal on a used oven is having the ability to powdercoat the brackets. I can see about getting a group rate at a local powdercoater that a freind of mine works at if enough people are wanting to go that route.

These kits will fit with the stock 7.5/7.625 and also the 8.5 axle as they have the same axle flange. If you have or are thinking about swapping in a ford 9" or other stronger rear axle and you will need to be narrowing it down to fit, i suggest you get Moserf 7900FM housing ends, they are around 80 bucks from summit, and allow the LS1 f-body rear disk to bolt directly on, the the backing plate turns in to what is holding the axle in the car, so no c-clips, and then from there this kit is a direct bolt on.

I will be offering the axle brackets primed and painted with high gloss black paint, if you want a different color, LMK and i can ship them to you primed and ready for paint, I can also powdercoat them for an additional 10 bucks, with black as the standard color, other colors available for 5 bucks more, or i can leave them bare metal and you can do you own thing if you have a color theme going.

Heres the first post from the first GP, with the only changes made were a slight increase in the price. Also everything will be shipped DHL Ground fully insured.

Ok, i currently have 9 orders for these kits, and if i can get atleast 1 more i will lower the price to 175 + shipping. If we can get 15 orders i will pay all the shipping.

I have decided to leave this initial order open to the end of the week, and on friday will be placing the order for the cables, which have a 7-10 day lead time.

Ok, i want to give everybody an update on these kits, i was planning on placing the order for the cables on monday, but i have been looking into redesigning the end that hooks to the ebrake lever on the backing plate, and while the original design works, i wanted to get more of a factory type LS1 end on the cable, just to make install alittle easier and all that. So i have been talking to the place that is making them and they have the correct LS1 type end, they just ordered some and they wont be in till the middle of next week, so this will set the cables back by about a week, so hopefully 7-10 days by the end of next week at the latest i wil have the cables back and ready to ship everything out.

I hate to make you guys wait any longer than absolutly needed, but i also think that this will make the kits a lot better, and feel the wait will def be worth it.

I will send a pm to everybody that has placed an order telling them the same thing.

OK, we currently have 11 kits ordered, and im gonna cut off this for now, i have sent everybody that placed an order a PM with updated info on the cables.

Basically the first design that jjorgensen52 had on the cables worked, but i wanted to have the factory type LS1 end on the cable, and the cable manufacturer was able to order the correct end. So i think this will make a much better product in the end.

I am capping this first order for now, but that doesnt mean these kits wont be available anymore, my plan from now on is to have a couple kits made up, boxed up and ready to ship asap for the 1st gen trucks, and also the 2nd gen reg and ext cab trucks. So as orders are placed, the kits will ship asap. I am also going to set the standard price for each complete kit at 215 shipped in the lower 48.

So anytime your ready to step up the brakes on your truck, just give me a shout on email, or pm and ill get you taken care of.

Ok, new update, i just got off the phone with the company that is making the cables, and the correct LS1 style cable ends were supposed to be there today, but they only got 2 ends, and the rest are on backorder, and will be there on the 22nd. So the order has been placed for the cables, but this will delay shipment till the new ends come in, they said they will make the cables up to that point, and once the ends get ther all they will need to do is put that on and ship them out.

Sorry to make everybody wait, but this is out of my control.

I will also continue taking new orders, if we get to the 15+ orders before the 22nd, i will still honor the free shipping offer. After that each kit will be 215 shipped, unless somebody wants to get a GP going again.
