Re: A few pics of my winter project

Great post! Your truck is an inspiration for me to get started on my swap. I already ordered the oil pan, and mounts from turbotime. I have a 5.3 I'm going to throw in it with 6.0 heads, 4l80e, and a gt67, fmic, meth, two step, and NOS if needed (I dont think I will need it) I just need wireing harness and exhaust piping... I think I will start in april after I get back from florida. My question is what harness are you going to go with? I was thinking of doing my own. I think I can do it.

Re: A few pics of my winter project

Thanks, It would be a LOT faster if I didn't have to wait on my accountant (other 1/2) to say its ok to order more parts each time I run out

I am using the stock harness that came with the motor. I will weed it out a little but have been told by someone local that does these motor swaps that it is real easy to do. I will keep all informed of what I did to the stock harness for future people interested. List of stuff to still be done.

Send converter back to Precision for re-stall
Add in Wastegate so I can have headers coated
Install fuel pump, filter and feed line
Install injectors and comp 918 springs.
Take truck to exhaust shop for downpipe and exhaust.
Install tuning software and start truck

As you can see I still have a little bit but not really a whole lot. Just money right now so I am talking with my accountant again.
