Re: A few pics of my winter project

Here is a test and tune video from yesterday afternoon. Went down to a nice local testing spot close to the house for a little boost roll ons. Enjoy

Re: A few pics of my winter project

Were you planning on putting a built motor in and just using th 6.0 to mock up or what?

That thing moves

Here is a pic of the new motor. Built to hold over 1200+ hp at the wheels. I hope its enough to run with you now Jeff

So you bought another motor? Did your trans mess up again? What gives?

The build was being done in two steps. 1st step was put a mostly stock ls motor in to make sure of the engine placement, cooling placement, W2A, build the headers, Turbo placement, etc... Mostly just to make sure everything worked out and played nice together.

The second step was to have a fully built block w/heads done and then do a swap over the weekend at a later date. I just didn't realize it was going to be so soon. I didn't know my other half was going to let me spend another $8k so soon on the motor. So now that I can its already built and ready to go in. I am pulling the motor and trans tomorrow if it doesn't rain and going to make sure the trans is 100% along with the converter before shoving it all back in with the new block.

Need to get it all done here like SOON so I can still be ready to go to the Street truck shootout Aug 2nd.

Thats the plan...
