Sy 0383 low boost test pass
Loaded up and went to the local drag strip Friday afternoon. Dam humidity was so thick, you could cut it with a knife.
 Anyway, I got in a full 1/8 mile pass at 1 bar '14.7' psi. The truck ran great.  Cooled her off and was fixing to make another run at higher boost but the starter wouldn't engage? Come to find out the 3 bolts that hold the motor to the bendix, 2 were missing in action and the other was about to fall out. Couldn't find the necessary replacements at the track so we loaded up and came home, which really didn't bother me as I bet I sweated out 10 lbs. It was to hot & humid for wrenching for me. Let me get this straight. We're going to be gifted with a health care plan written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it,passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a President who also hasn't read it and who smokes, with funding administered by a Treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a Surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a Country that's broke. What the hell could possibly go wrong? |

yeh mike was also Jim "Kenne" Bells top secret street racer test guy back in the early 90s with hidden nitrous kit :-)

Excellent 60ft starting point. I like the look of the tires tucked in under the rear. Same direction I'm going So i gotta know whats the weight with driver? ed
