Anyone have a part number for this little annoying valve? The dealer had a hell of a time trying to find it and im' not even sure it's the right one. Napa has univeresal checkvalves that is too small on one side and no one sells an adapter for 1/4 to 1/8th...

Re: Cruise control/egr check valve

do you know if these check valves are necessary (i.e. what kind of issues will you have by eliminating them)?

Re: Cruise control/egr check valve

All I know is my EGR valve was leaking and as i was grinding the old gasket off i accidentally chopped into one of these valves. I'm chasing an egr code and i'm hoping this valve leaking wont help:(

Re: Cruise control/egr check valve

Vacuumn check valve, cruise control........15733271....package of 5.....$12.60 MSRP
(The old number was 14056648 for a package of one)

It may not look the same as the OE check valve but it is functionally the same. It is a 3-nipple check valve.
The check valve is placed in the vacuum line between the cruise control servo to the vacuum ball with a vacuum line to the EGR solenoid.

Re: Cruise control/egr check valve

Thank you gentlemen... So we are clear there are few ways, $12.50 for a set, buy the caterpillar one, or make one myself...

Ok, now that I have the part # let me see what the stealership is saying... (im guessing 12.50 for one)

Re: Cruise control/egr check valve

I need the part # for the one with one 2 nipples. I called the dealer, and as stated below these are all 3 nipple parts.
