I was thinking about mounting the 2 pumps in the tank like the pictures and splicing the racetroxic wiring harness (outside tank) to have 2 plug in conectors (inside tank). Maybe swap the stock feed to -8 somehow and use -6/-8 for return. Might be eaiser with billet fuel rails.

I still don't like the two pump idea but i know it works. I ended up with one big pump with enough fuel to cover E85

when i need more pump i will be adding a second walbro to my truck. i have to say they have been completely reliable and quiet in my T/A. i trigger my second pump at 35% tps.

i think you guys should add into the equation a single bosch '044' pump. it can be put in the tank or mounted outside and can make 700rw on its own. while it is more expensive than twin walbros, it is less 'risky' for what you guys are saying about all or nothing.

i will be updating my car with one walbro 255 and one bosch 044 in the tank for next season, i am at the hp limit of them now around 1200hp

ya that bosch pump keeps coming up,.but i keep seeing them rated around 200-300lt/hr which doesn't seem like a ton but i wouldn't worry about the quality with them being bosch.

Re: Fuel pump for 500-600+RWHP

I ordered a Weldon FPR today from Mike at RPM.. i'm down to needing a 3 bar map, fuel filter (any pointers) fuel lines and a syty boost solenoid. And about 3-10 days in the garage to do the leg work installing new turbo, fuel tank, pump, injectors, filters, ecm harness moving the intercooler from behind the bumper to behind the grill...

now trying to figure out what size lines.. from the tank to the pump i'm running -12 (port size on the pump) then -10 pump to engine but i think the weldon FPR only has a -8 return so i'll run -8 back to the tank.
