Help with the Hubby

OK. I thought it was time to post again. I don't know a lot about cars/trucks/syclones/typhoons (sorry honey) so I just don't have anything to post. But I do read many of your posts and I am enjoying them. Anyway, I have finally thought of something to ask you guys. Is it normal for you all (sy/ty lovers) to be so goofy?

Example: Warmpancakes has been working very hard on my new Ty. It looks great, runs real good (eventhough I haven't driven her yet) and looks great with the TRBOMOM plate on it. The hubby originally asked me what color I wanted the cladding to be. I told him a dark blue. He said it wouldn't look good. He suggested a charcoal gray (apparently that was the original color) and I agreed. Then he asked me what color decalls I wanted. I said I would love dark blue, but I wasn't sure if they would show up. He actually said dark blue would look good. But now he's decided to paint the light bulbs dark blue (the little ones in the displays inside the truck, I believe). I asked him why he is going through so much trouble to do that, and he replied "because you're worth it." Is there something deeper here, because I think that's just going a bit too far. But then again, being married to him for 8 years now, it's not unlike him to be that anal.

Thanks.

Re: Help with the Hubby

Im not painting the bulbs, Im painting the needles, (and they are spare) the bulbs are blue LED bulbs, and silver face guages to match the auto meter guages in the pilar.

we are all pretty goofy, but your husband is an exception.. until i met him I had no idea how goofy he really was.. now i know that he should represent the disney character at all public appearances.

just wait till he starts chroming everything. Then you'll find out how goofy he really is syty-wise.

SHHHH thats a secret
"needs more chrome"

about 5% of all your posts merely say that....its far from a secret ;) Besides...theres only so much metal on a syty to chrome. She's just lucky the cladding isn't aluminum

No, but if the stereo inside the Jeep is playing a song by the Indigo Girls, I'm in.
(I dated, before Ken of course, I guy with a mullet who wore balloon pants, drove a 1986 Z28 T-Top Camaro and listened to the Indigo Girls). Basically, I moved up when I met Ken.

OK, Ken just wrote all that...he's home for lunch and thought he'd put his .02 in, but not realizing that I was still signed in. Can't live with him...Can't live without him!!!
