You will have to trim the upper A-arm so you can get full clock turns, else you will scrub in the inside of the rim. When you put the rims on, jack up the front, turn the wheel almost all the way and just mark where you see it will make contact. Remove as much as needed.

Note that you need to get the right size tires so that the overall diameter is either the same, or very very close to the same for both rim sizes, else you will burn up your xfer case.

We just got done replacing a transfer case, tires on the front and axles due to (hopefully cross fingers) the same size tires are 17s in the front and 18s in the back.......not fun

Isn't there a way that you can get a bolt, and put it in the control arm to stop it from going to a full turn so the rim wont get scrubbed? I think it has been done before
