Can anyone help locate me an instument cluster i have a boken needle and need to replace it . i have went to ever junk yard around where i live . I have also been told that a turbo sunbird would work for the needles also Thanks

I have a cluster out of an '86 Sunbird Turbo
The pointers are not the same as the Syclone.

I think the '87-'90 have a different ECM, so they
may have a different cluster

Both a cluster from a Turbo Sunbird or a non-turbo 3.1L Sunbird from '90-'91 model years will work.

I had to use a Turbo sunbird tachometer in my Ty when the tach went south. It was out of a 3.1 liter. Just used the whole tach. Needles are identical. Don't know why someone thought the needles were different. You will have to find one with the same cluster though. You'll know it when you find it. Look at a junk yard. It will actually plug into your dash and work(if you have your cluster out). Ours has some specific details so you will have to use the sunbird cluster to rebuild yours. The sunbird with the 3.1 liter and tach is plug and play as far as the tach is concerned. The turbo sunbirds were only 4 cylinders(I think) so you'll only be able to use the needle. If you do find a turbo sunbird, check if it is a 6 cylinder. If it is, start pulling gauges and swapping :)
