Interior light cover and shift knob?

Does anyone out there make a better interior light cover just behind the seats on the sy that doesn't turn yellow and brittle over time?
Also wondering if there is some kinda nut or something that keeps the shift knob from falling off everytime I push down on the shifter button?

There is a snap ring that holds the knob on. A white LED bulb might stop the yellowing.

a LED bulb with stop the yellow the yellow comes from the heat of a standard bulb

oops just seen this..got a source for clip? part number for interior LED light? Mines not even there and wanr a LED to put in there.

Anyone got the bulb # for the oem fuse looking bulb?
I just went to an autoparts store and got something close to the size of the c clip them dremeled it work. Had a snap ring but it's so tight in there u can't even spread them open.
