Re: Just purchased Shaun Palmer's Pike's Peak Wheels and Wide Body Fenders
The fenders were molded directly off the stock fenders. The rear bed fenders would replace the steel side panels. There is no gas filler provision. That would need to be cut out. Quality is pretty damn good. Only defect I see is the gas fill spot is a little wavy if you look at it sideways, probably due to the gaps between the fill door when molded. I'll have a little fill placed there to smooth out before painting.
Camera took a dump after my kid dropped it, so pictures will have to wait.
Wheels and tires are the actual set that was on the truck on both years runs.
Fenders are spares in case Shaun stacked the Sy.
I don't have prices yet on fenders. I need to get a price on having them molded first. There is a huge fiberglass aftermarket bodykit factory here in reno that makes stuff for import cars. They are a division of the RaceTech North America racing seats company. I'm meeting with the guys down there pretty soon to discuss molds. I'll need to make molds anyway in case I damage mine as there are only two sets in existence.
