Re: Mr Syclone Updates for 2009
i'd be more concerned with the tonneau cover itself and how its wavy/has gaps between the bed rails...than affixing a wing to it.
Is the tonneau complete? Or are you still in the middle of making that?
We just got the alu panels and just started to work it down on the bed, we´re gona use the orginal cover ontop of the alu "sheets" this is going to make the truck even sturdier to the force/torq on it.
And Mike Ur right about erlyer times, the truck whent straight as an arrow, BUT now last season AND the 8,85 time and speed, the trip down the track IS starting to be more wiggeling, the brute force on 2´nd gear is chirpin the tires all the way down from 330 feet past 660 feet so we need to put some pressure on the rear.
And also make sure the truck continues to be stable and straight as an arrow on flight
Good pic on the pickup, but I have some more info on the aerodynamiks on trucks with Syclone dimesions and we´re about to test this wing. Think its gona work good
Main reason for THIS wing, besides "Dare to be different"

its gona be a snap to remove it because it will not be on for street use, and towing.. Its a "Race only" device like the shute
Why we didnt go for the standard "Pro stock" wing, is we think its uggly on this truck
