Greetings to all from a new Ty project owner from near Charlotte, NC. As you can see, I've been a member for a while, but just became an owner.

Welcome. If this keeps happening, all the SyTy's will be in NC:D:tup:. Ditto on more info and fotos.

No photos until this weekend, as I leave for work in the dark and get home in the dark this time of year.

VIN is 1GDCT18ZN08120 11. Title says '92. Black/black. Plenty of stuff wrong with it, but it starts and the price was right. It was a daily driver and shows the wear. It has more rust than I was expecting, but so it goes when you buy sight unseen. :)

I did not realize that there were any so close. I have been here 12 years and only ever seen one SY and a couple of TY's. I am right down the road in Winterville.

Do you have a SyTySgt? Who's SyTy's have you seen up that way? I go to Greenville all the time. There is a Ty and a Sy ( hear it is for sale) in Jacksonville. There is a Ty in New Bern. There is a Ty at Cherry Point. I have a Sy. Are you a member of the yahoo Turbo 6 group?

No not in that group. I will check it out. I just bought mine (92 TY) in Feb and have been tooling on it since. Just about ready. It has been years since I have seen any up this way. Have no idea who or where they were from they were just passing. If you come to G'vile alot you have probably seen my S-10. I used to work at Showtime Stereo at Charles and Gville Blvd. Now it is a strip mall. It was silver lowered 4" shaved everything with a V-6 that sounded and ran like an 8, all motor. Just sold it to finish paying off the TY.

No idea about the hitch, but it won't be there once I get started working on it.

It's a project that needs alot of work, but I've wanted one since I was 17.
