Nothing fancy at home, just a 2.5 car attached garage for the "light" work:
It has plenty of lighting and can be heated which is a plus in the winter... Have the basic stuff, air compressor, dunk tank, small sandblast cabinet and tools galore. The only thing that I am hurting for is bench space but I'm working on that. I have a friend who does carpentry work in offices, schools and hospitals. He gets steel cabinets for free that are tear outs in remodeling projects. Already got half the back wall set up with a nice counter top. Next on the list is some drop lights on retractable reels from the ceiling so that I don't have the string cords everywhere.
For the "heavy" work, I use the back of the shop where I work:
My boss has already given me permission to do my tear down and rebuild in the back when I get around to doing it. Which is nice since I can design and machine anything that I need under the same roof on the CNC if I need to.
