Re: Sonoma GT cluster

Their was a specific harness, but I read it can easily be re-pinned. The Sy/Ty/SoGt is going to have unique (different) mounting brackets and cluster surround is different as well.

does anyone have a idea of that needs to be moved and re-pinned. i have a whole complete SoGT for the conversion.

If you have a whole GT, you can just swap it over. IIRC there is a SyTyGT specific harness that plugs into the s10 gauge harness and feeds into the cluster

Re: Sonoma GT cluster

Sorry this thread is a touch old, but on the subject of changing an S10 to Sonoma GT gauges, will that cluster only work for truck with the a V6? If so, o well, if not, what needs to be done to make it work with a 4cyl truck? Or even a V8 truck in the future?

I just started my search, so I may find my answer, but I figured id post it anyways.

Thanks,
Jason

So far as I know, it's receiving a pulse from the dist at 6x per engine rotation. the 4cyl will have a 4x pulse, and the 8 will have an 8x pulse. You can out a signal converter in there to accomodate that. I also believe you can correct it through the ECM
