Stock Sy hub size?

Does anyone know what the stock hub size is for the syclone? I've put some corvette 17" c5 wheels on my truck and have noticed this "chugging" effect only when i apply 40% brake. I know it's not warped rotors as theres no vibration under HARD braking.
The truck lurches goes fast goes slow goes fast goes slow, I think I may need a hubcentric spacer. Bonus points if you can verify if the c5's changed hub sizing over the model years as well

All Chevrolet Corvette's from 1953-Current have a 70.30mm hub bore, they've never changed it.

Sy/Ty's I've never seen a documented hub bore size for anywhere, but I've tried atleast 5 different Corvette wheels and 2 different Corvette brake setups on my personal truck and everything fits very tightly. IMO Sy/Ty's have a 70.30mm hub bore also.

I have that very same wheel mounted on my truck right now and it fits perfectly, you shouldn't need any spacer.

Do you still have the factory ABS unit in the truck, if so I'd start there.

Well I went through some books and old paper work on hub bores and all S-series trucks 1982-2003, 2wd and 4wd have a 70.30mm hub bore.

Corvette wheels are hub centric on a Sy/Ty.

Thanks for the footwork, i still have the abs which will be coming out soon but it shouldn't be related as 40% braking is no where hard enough to even begin to trigger the abs.

True, but IIRC that is part of the main issue with it (haven't had mine in the truck for years)

It engages when it's not supposed to and since the brake fluid goes through the ABS unit before it reaches the brakes it has a problem disspursing the fluid properly. That's why you hear horror stories of people stepping on the brakes and nothing happing :2cents:

Remember our trucks were a first to have 4 wheel ABS (prototype) and all early 90's GM trucks were plauged with ABS problems.
