CC801,
The 4l80e not fit in the SyTy, according to advanced adapters and work with the transfer case. Not without really modifying the truck to make it fit. There are several companies that build 4l60/65e tranny that does handle the numbers I am looking to have. I have ordered the internal engine components to handle up to 800 crank hp, next step is purchase the turbo berg werner or a precision 70 to 76 mm.

I was thinking about doing that swap also, let me know what you find out. I'll subscribe to this thread.
ALCON,
Thanks for the advice, as to the build, no one has posted of doing a LS/turbo swap. Only one person has shared any info on their build. He sent me pics, but he did a N/A swap. I was thinking of doing that as well, but his headers were custom made by him. As to the 4l80e swap, I haven't asked and since I have the 60 I was going to build it.
I did some looking around, but nothing that I have found actually list what is required to switch to the 4l80e. Have any of you done this swap, and can tell me what exactly is needed to make everything work correctly? Also, do I need to build the 4l80e? I see several post about the input shaft or output shaft.... but nothing concrete to guide me for a somewhat simple installation>
You guys are hilarious..
Thanks for the links, I went on Rpm, the part sold werent for installation. Perhaps I will have to call...thanks again. Does the 4l80 requires rebuilding?

NO. The 4L80e will handle a stupid amount of power.
The two mechanical parts you need are the adapter plate and the input shaft (and a drive shaft).... you're making this harder than need be.
-P
LMAO,
Update: drive shaft(S), but yes you're making this more difficult.
I don't know what a good estimate would be for a stock 4L80E to handle regularly, 500hp maybe, it's all relative.
I'm pretty sure I'm at that level or above it, and have beat the hell out of the 80-e, done a dozen stall launches in a row, the trans line were pretty damn warm, but the transmission hasn't missed a beat. I'm trying to figure out if toyz knows anything about swaps. I sent him a bunch of pics and info and it seems to have missed it's point.
