Drove it.

List of things to do tomorrow:
Replace oil pan gasket
Figure out the oil pressure issue (Oil pick up tube is a possibility, hence oil pan gasket)
Motor mounts

Wish me luck!

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

Finally got my ignition switch adjusted right so I got accessory power and ignition power. Also found some black hex head socket bolts to replace my centercap locks since you can't powder coat the chrome bolts. Also fixed my constant on ABS light and put a regular bulb back in instead of an LED bulb. Man, I hate re-attaching the HVAC temperature cable...

what did you use on the Foglamps? Factory housings or aftermarket? Which Bulbs? And i had to remove my factory switch it burned up and melted. so ill have to run my own switch to a relay and out when i do my fog HID's

Got my DutchTy Intercooler from wtlivezey today. Ofcourse I had to start polishing it. I will polish it more before the install. I'm going to install it in the summer so I can Datalog the temp difference. This is a excellent piece! Thanks DutchTy for making these:tup:

Installed my new gauges and put the cluster/dash back together.
Then sat there, looked out the windshield, held onto the steering wheel and made a "Vrrrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooommmmmmmmmmmwooooooosh" noise.

Installed my new hood prop kit that I got from Philntex.
It is a very nice kit and super easy to install.

Put it back together from the toque converter re-stall. Now need to figure out if the battery is bad or the charger, and top off the trans and tranfercase fliud.......

Assembled the short-block. Waiting for head gaskets, timing set, and balancer.

Removed old Accel ignition system and coil. Started installing new MSD ignition system and coil. Cleaned up wiring a bit...more to go. Ordered 1/2" vent for fuel system to prevent vapor lock issues from last year (grrrrr).

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

1. Installed new Walbro 255 pump and Racetronix hot wire kit.
I had some detonation under 1/2 throttle, which I thought was caused by kenne bell chip. Then,, the truck had a little trouble starting for about a week, then finally failed to turn over one night. It runs SO much better now. Only problem now is the fuel gauge reads FULL all of the time :(

2. Installed Typhoon mirrors, haven't wired thenm up for power yet.
I found a typhoon clone that was being parted out. I grabbed 2 mirrors, wiring harnesses/connectors, a stereo bezel and ash tray for $60!

3. "Ain't Nobody's Bizness" Tint was installed...looks GOOD!

Tint looks really good! What % is it? I have been wanting to do mine, but I got pulled over 2-3 times a month in my old truck with only 35%.. Living in LA sucks in the car customization world...

Also if you don't mind, I would like to meet up with you one of these days and measure out and take notes on the power mirror harness and make my own:D I have the mirrors and the adjustment switch also, but no harness!

The tint is 5%. Oh yeah, I have the under dash adj. switch too. As far as harness is concerned, I only have the wiring from the motor with connectors. I would need to lengthen those wires and connect them into my fuse panel to gain power. Here's the info on a conversion that I found...
