mine didn't come with one either, but when you get the old one out, there is not too much you could do to mess it up.

Dont reinstall the pulsator on the new pump, throw the pulsator away.

What is the pulsator and what does it look like? Thanks for the info.
I also have a full new harness too.

Re: walbro fuel pump install

I'm installing a walbro this week in my TY, taking the old one out just for a piece of mind. I never threw away the pulsator? What is that and why throw it away? Just curious since I'm doing the install soon. Never had an issue with the walbro that's in my truck now?

Re: walbro fuel pump install

The pulsator is put directly inline after the fuel pump and is supposed to absorb the pulses from the fuel pump and make it work more efficiently, No big deal to have the truck without it, just make sure you use high pressure fuel line when you replace it. Regular fuel line will not hold the pressure.

Guess when I get the tank out I will look for it. I only remember using high pressure hose from the pump to the sending unit assembly on mine. I will have the tank out tuesday night... I will check if mine is still there.
