This one seems to work pretty well!!
Can anyone please help me to find a GM rear (3.42 gears), that has the stock width and is beefed up (strong axles, should be able to put in a detroit locker, disc brakes) to hold the planned 1500+hp ?
I am willing to build the 4 link myself, but cannot find a rear that I can use.
Must be avilable anywhere, not?
PLEASE HELP !
Dude, you have the WWW, use it. There are any number of custom rear differential builders out there that will build you whatever you want. Google is your friend. :myclone:

Those are a few just to start with and I would recommend you get friendly with your local chassis fabricator as he probably has experience with these manufacturers and others and can guide you in your efforts. You may come to learn that 3.42 gears aren't what will ultimately need for the size tires required to hook up 1500 hp. :2cents:

As a couple of the other guy's said...
Contact Moser or currie... they can get the axel narrowed with the ends on it. They could also send you the good axels for the inside/locker/gears depending on how complete you want it.
You would have to weld up the 4link peices for the height of your truck and setup Pinion angle.
Splitting the power is easier on both diffs.. so as others say your good there.
Any Pictures of your setup for us?

If you use the search button, you can find what you are looking for. If you don't want to use the search button, I will give you a little help.

Now you have a beginning :rotf::rotf:. I think that your weak link may end up being the front diff at this level anyway even though it is only getting 35% of the power or 525 hp.
