This was a "win win" as Rick is a racer friend.
Crappy RT but it was getting late. Latest I've ever been there. Just FYI. I've been "reverse tuning" the truck to pass smog. Once that happens we'll see how it goes. Jeremy's truck is quick. Hooks up nice and looks real good going down the track as well.
My truck was making some strange noises coming home as well. All your fault Jeremy...:rotf:

Well, my motor is gone. Today, she started blowing blue smoke badly and making all kinds of not-so-nice clanking noises. I guess the stock 76K mile motor didn't like the TCC lockup with 26.2psi of boost, go figure. The motor had already been making a faint rattling noise the past few hundred miles, so I knew it wouldn't be long. I am sure it was the TCC lockup on my last two runs that wasted the motor - I should have gotten out of it when I heard it pinging through my helmet. I said I was going to hit 11s or blow it up trying, so I made good on my word and hopefully put on a good show for you guys. My plans for the truck are to build a forged bottom, fully ported/polished motor with Vortecs, do coil-overs up front, and install my other rims on that are still in boxes.
Hey Don - congrats on your 2nd place finish - that's cool :tup: I'll probably ride my GSX-R up there in a few weeks and make some passes.
