Power steering pump?

Has anyone here ever rebuilt a P/S pump?

I have a brand new AGR high flow pump sitting in my garage which has a leaky shaft seal, and I'd like to use it on the GT rather than buy a new one for that too (the old one's shaft pulled out of the pump body  ).

Any special tools / other than a generic rebuild kit I'd need?

AGR will rebuild it for you.

I purchased it, and it was outside the 90 day warranty period when I actually installed it due to several holdups in the build... so I was on my own for that

AGR may not do it for free but they will rebuiild it for a cost.
They probably sell the kit of seals that you need to rebuild it yourself as well.

I know guys have sent non-AGR steering gears to AGR and had them converted to quicker ratio and rebuilt at the same time.

I bought the seal and bearing kit, I'm planning to pull the pump apart this weekend. It doesn't look terrible to do, I will report back after I get through it. I figure, worst I'll be is have a pump that still needs to be rebuilt ;)

IIRC, it's not to hard of a job, but it has been a few years since I've done one...
