Re: Ouch! Wheel shop bent me over... Royally screwed. I agree, 20 bucks should have been the case, regardless of what kind of tires they are. If they're competent, it should be cake for them, and take them 10 minutes to do. Low profile tires are easy if you know how to mount them correctly...

Re: Nice wheels..... I was just thinking the same thing. At least get something fairly decent than some $40 M+S crappers. Fikse's are freakin' awesome, though. $1500 for the wheels alone would be a good price.

Re: beware AGR steering boxes I'm thinking I was the only one that didn't have a problem with mine. Well, except for the horrid power steering hissing noise, but that didn't really bug me much.

Re: White TY seen in Spanawy, wa I see plenty around here. I've seen 2 different Sy's in Federal Way, one in Tacoma, perhaps the same white Ty in Tacoma as well. I've seen a few of everything in Seattle, not forgetting to mention myself. We're all around here.

Re: 2008 Washington Autocrossing Any SCCA region should allow Sy/Ty's. If they tell you otherwise, you can show them the rulebook where it has Sy/Ty's listed in F Stock. BTW, preregistration closes at 6pm on Friday, so if anyone else is interested, preregister and save yourself 10 bucks.

I forgot (<-excuse, was actually too lazy) to mention about the new autocross season last month when it actually started. Any of you guys in the Sea/Tac area, or even better yet, Kitsap County want to get into some autocrossing, I'll be chairing the next BSCC event on April 13th at Bremerton...
