93 stock rx7 with exaust.

im supposed to race this rx7 for money, i raced one from a dig but it was a 2g i think? i dont know the foreign body styles well. Well any way i smoked him bad but he would always almost catch up at like 100- 110. Should i ask for spotts. My ty is stock. I was think maby put race gas in just to be sure. Can the stock injectors handle race gas. I cant find torco out here in cali.

1/4 mile mph on Stock Ty is going to be under 100mph (96 or so), what are you racing the 1/2 mile? You can get a little better top end by lock the torque converter but its still not going to hold him off at 110mph.

get a roll tape and mark 1/4 mile, get a spotter and a starter, just dont get caught

take it to the track or a very very diserted street to not risk anyone.......is it turbo if so u shouldnt have any problem and u brake boost and luanch on his ass in the 1/4 now top speed he might start to catch u

Not trying to flame you, but you should try and get more info if your racing for money.

Not sure what a 2g is? Did you mean 20B?

If so a '93 20B, probably a high 13sec/low 14 sec car depending on driver and mods.

Also if you guys are going to 100-110mph your going way past the quarter mile mark. Not sure what your racing to, but you need to end it long before that, they have this thing called aerodynamics :lol

If he's catching you around 100-110 then you guys are racing way too far...lol....Just race the quarter and you should win with a nice launch.

jesus christ, were racing at qualcom. Its a racetrack nearby. Im not the dumbass that slamed into typhoonatz!!! Iv had 15 cars in my life and never had an accident. Some people on here are bitter assholes. I really do appreciate all the help you guys give me with my ty. I love my truck! ****

2g he's talking about 2nd gen. if its a 93 its a 3rd gen which are have 2 turbos but one is for low end (under 4000 rpm) then after that it shuts down and the 2nd one kicks in so you only have one turbo running at any given time (if its stock). i think they had 255~260 hp and with the low weight of the car it should do around a 14 second quater mile. thats of course depending on the drive. should be a pretty good race if both of you are stock. would like to hear who wins
