Ok, I knew that at some point I was going to have to rip out the crappy alarm that a previous owner installed. What I didn't know was how extensive this alarm system was. It had all kinds of stupid extras like "one touch" windows, glass breakage, remote start, blah blah blah. Might have been cool to whoever drove this every day but nothing I need. Besides it started to malfunction (as any aftermarket stuff does when crapily installed) so my windows started going up and down by themselves.
Anyway - now that I have vented. Here are some pics of the monstrosity I am in the process of removing. Oh, to make it worse the hack was trying to imitate a professional by soldering all the connections. Instead of simply removing crimp-ons I have had to cut and re-connect all the wiring involved.
Anyone else have as much fun with their Sy / Ty?
