Re: Motor rebuild for 92TY#73
OK here we go. I got the fuel system in but had a ton of wiring left to do so I have been tackling that over the last two weeks. I finally got it done though. At least to the point where I can stuff the harness back in the truck. Here is what I have going on so far.
Made these connectors for the coil harness so I can mount it in the cowl
Mounted MAP sensor, firewall feed through for coil wire
In the cowl
This junction box will replace the old one on the passenger side. Still not sure how I will run the thick cable there yet. It will then go to a fuse block where i will run the wiring out to the e-fans
Here is the PT67GTQ I just bought
Harness dumbied in to place
A long the left bank
Coil hooked up
Not sure this is where the solenoid will go yet either
Coming together
Here is what is left before I spend more money
I am getting really excited and antsy. This project I think is coming together very well and in a descent time frame. Once i get fuel done, I am thinking about another $1k before I am done. That should come rather quick. All that is really left after fuel system is radiator, IC piping, new E-fans, wee bit more wiring, just little stuff really. Also forgot to point out I got my red fuel rails installed with the 75# injectors.
