NASTE Nats Caravan

Did a little figuring this evening to see what everyones routes were going to look like from some of the major city areas and here's what I came up with...

It looks like, NJ, PA, CT, RI, MA and NYC area will all follow the same route. Pittsburgh actually had a different route going through Columbus, but putting them on this route was I believe a 7 min time difference. Rochester, NY and I'm sure the rest of Upstate and WNY would take I-90 out and come down through Ohio as well.

So lets see who's going to be on this gravy train either going down or coming back :tup:

I'll be in the mix on the way back for sure. My Ty should be down near there already so I'll be flying in and driving back if all goes as planned.

I'll be in on the way DOWN, but only if I can find a tow set-up.

As mentioned before, if I find the right set-up, I'll be stowing my truck in TN, and heading to Memphis after nats, then heading back up to PA later.

EDIT: Morgan, why are you leaving on the 5th if Nats don't start until the 7th? I doubt I'll be able to spare the extra day (work, kids, etc.)...and will likely leave on the 6th.

I would like to go but cant be sure of my schedule yet, should have a new job by then but not 100% sure.

it "officially" starts on the 7th, but lots of people get there on the 6th, which is what I plan on doing so I can rest up before the actual event starts.

I "technically" dont need to leave on the 5th since its only a 14 hour trip, but it didnt make much sense to leave at 1am or Midnight and lose all that prime driving time. So if I (we) left in the evening, we could take our time since some of us will be trailering, and I know sometimes we stop for breakfast on the way in, PLUS its a caravan of SyTys, so you damn well know someones shit is gonna break :lol:

As of now (this is completely unofficial until we leave the driveway) it looks like I'll drive back with the caravan. Dad has a brother in Lexington KY, so it looks like we'll be leaving PA early in the week to spend a couple days with him before Nats. After Nats, Dad is heading to VA for vacation, but I'm heading back to PA.

We haven't completely cleared this with my uncle yet, but that's our plan as of now.

I was in Lexington last April, its really nice in some of those area, around the horse track and such.

I am definate in and I will be bringing my Syclone. I will probably try to catch up with Renz if he doesn't mind.

If we leave the night of the 5th, we will get in mid day Thurs. It gives you a chance to rest and have 2 full days to enjoy the Nationals.

awesome Dave.

Lets get some more names on this list guys, NASTE needs to make a good showing being this close.

Also, I am in NO way forcing anyone here to leave on the night of the 5th. If it doesn't work for you for whatever reason, work, family, school, ect, please do not feel like you are forced to leave at that time. Im sure there will be others who want to leave on the 6th, so I urge everyone to speak their mind and if need be we will have 2 caravans down :tup:
