That sucks...I'm looking too. I saw them all the time on CL here for less than $250 when I didn't have my truck, now i can't find one to save my arse.

I know! I saw one on CL brand new for a steal and I didn't jump on it. I finally had the money and decided to pick it up and it was sold. :rant: I used to see them for sale all the time also, but now there are none. :tdown:

If I could find one for 250 I would have one that's for sure. Problem is, even the "cheap" ones are $400+ once you have them shipped and they still need paint. You can never find a "a deal" when you need one...

I have a good condition stock real Syclone hood for sale...ohh wait you asked for a cowl hood.
I bought a used Cervinis cowl hood from a member here for around 400...thought that was a fair deal for a painted mint condition cowl hood. Cervinis is a nice company imo.

Keep your eye's open. Bought my goodmark 2" cowl from a member 2 summers ago for 350. It was unpainted, had been put on truck but was sold soon after without the cowl hood. I drove close to 3 hours south into jersey to pick it up. The board member drove some to meet me also. Saved on the shipping. That made it worth it for me. Keep your eyes open and good luck

what's crazy is that when I ordered my goodmark it was on sale plus there was some promotion where I saved another 10% so I ended up paying $220 for the hood plus freight. The hood arrived and when I got to open it days later the metal had like a short of wave effect to it but was smooth. I contacted goodmark and sent them digital pics via email and they sent me out another hood. They didn't want the defective hood so i tried selling it. had a hell of a time and ended up letting it go for $150 to a local street racer with a built and juiced 383 s10.
from what I remember reading they no longer make the cowl hood that has the stock raised crease in it

I will be at Nats, so if someone has a stock hood with nice black paint, and wants to swap their hood and some cash for mine, let me know. My hood is in great shape, and has nice paint. There's on small ding in the drivers front corner, about 1/4" in diameter. If you guys are interested, I can take some good picts of it tomorrow.

I'd be interested in that hood Mark. Only problem is it would be for the Ty so I'd only have a green hood for trade.
