Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

did you try another dist? I believe the ign module controls injector pulse

Do our trucks need oil pressure to fire the injectors like some of the other GM cars out there? Maybe a bad oil pressure switch. What about that fuel pump again maybe you have pressure but not volume. If it was any ignition part it would not fire when using starting fluid. What about the injector drivers on the computer? Did you swap out the computer yet?

How many miles on the motor? I wonder if you could have jumped a tooth or two on the timing chain? It's a long shot.....if you heard that sizzling up by the distributor that's a clue.... are all of your grounds good (left front of intake manifold, rear of left cylinder head, battery ground)??

The motor has about 2500 miles. We added another ground from behind the driver side head to frame 0/1 gauge. The rest look very good.

Just for $hits-n-giggles, apply power to the fuel pump test connector and see if it will start...

"Applying 12 volts to fuel pump test connector to troubleshoot fuel pump or set fuel pressure with vacuum line still connected and motor off (note fuse for safety)."

Re: NO FUEL FROM INJECTORS...no start

OMG! I went to check the ecm and the 3rd main wire harness was not plugged/ snapped all the way in. I have the ECM installed in the glove box.

The truck fired up after snapping the harness in. Now I dont know if it was the distributor swap as well.

Thank you for your help guys...hope I can return the help one day.
