Well, I did get to the strip this past weekend, and the 60's are about the only good things I can say for the trip. Set the BFG DR's at 18psi all around and pulled multiple 1.60's w/ a 4-5psi launch. A new best for my truck. My previous best was 1.67. I'm sure track prep played a big part as I don't do any kind of burnout.
Otherwise, we were racing directly into a stiff headwind. I sandbagged it for my first 4 of 5 runs attempting NOT to run 11's, as I have no rollcage and didn't wan't to get tossed too soon. My ignition was breaking up when the TC locked up, so I kept it unlocked for my last, and only WOT full 1/4 pass. I figure at about the 1/8th on that pass is when I lost a cylinder and still ran a 11.49/113. Now the engine is making some noise which sounds like a valvetrain prob to me, but we have yet to check it out as the rainy weather is really sucking this whole week. 0X
