Bad map sensor?

What's the easiest way to determine a bad or faulty map sensor?

Battling issues. They could be stemming from one place and branching out causing other issues. Currently the map reading is on the LOW side. I have a upgraded silicon vac line kit there shouldn't be any leaks at all.

I haven't. I was able to get under the hood for a bit. Had it on the lift and quite a few little pop up issues. Had a small fuel leak from the feed off the tank. Just such a pain in the ass to drop the tank, especially with fuel in it and not damaging really any of the lines, or wires. Typically I work on the truck my self. But sometimes I need a extra hand- in this case manipulate the fuel cell around ( gmc syclone) I could probably drop a typhoon tank in half the time and I believe it can be done from the rear of the vehicle. Syclone, it's either UP in the air, or bed OFF. Haven't seen any other way.

With the 1 fuel leak, came a lower trans hard line leak also. There is absolutely a order of operations to install everything back. I was able to address the leak with a crows foot style attachment for a ratchet. I didn't have any other solution to get a wrench/line wrench in there. Maybe some one has a future tip? I didn't want to remove the top line, no way. And I have 2 small coolant leaks I found pop up, or 3. 2 of which are at hose locations. One off the heater core ( lower line) the hose must be dry and clamp dug in. Have a small weep at the rad hose off the stat and one almost right under it. I'm looking for a factory style rad hose.

My map reading was @ 88? Key on engine off. Was told it's on the low side. Ultimately I need to run the truck a little bit longer, get it up to temperature and figure it out from there. Also maybe drive it. I just had trans done ( couple years ago) but it's brand spanking new and I had a lot of the underside of the truck apart and out.

Map sensor hooked to boost gauge, boost gauge shorts out and turns off sensor and and vehicle shuts down intermittently...only did it when wife drove....took mechanic about a month for it happened to him..disconnected boost gauge and okay now. Also affected EGR valve, changed them both twice before finding faulty boost gauge..real PITA!!
