Well, I have been chipping away at my Ty all winter long, but I have a few pics for you to see. I have a lot of cleaning up to do....re-routing of lines and stuff, but I think you will get the idea of what I am doing here. Some stats:

* stock block, bored 0.030" over
* MAHLE pistons, Eagle rods, cryoed stock crank, ARP studs, 4-bolt, L35's, custom cam
* Turbonetics T-72, HKS WG, Greddy e-01 boost controller
* Custom intake manifold/fuel rails with 85# injectors, Ford 80mm TB
* A2A IC
* Rossler TH400 full race-prep trans w/ 3000-stall converter
* Aeromotive A-1000 FP, sumped stock tank
* CAL-TRACS
* Detroit locker, TA cover on stock, prepped rear
* B&M 'HAMMER' shifter
* Alkycontrol.com kit
* Tuning by Nolan Nykyforuk @ Campbell Automotive

There are lots of other small things throughout, but I'm getting there...working on the center console/radio bezel area now.

...yup...I can get them locally in various sizes...real slick setup. This one I got was $32 without the brass fittings.

Definitly nice.! cant wait to see a time slip....

how come no OD? is your truck only for track and minimal street driving? or are you going to use one of the Gear Vender's over drive units?

Looks like my setup without so much stuff removed, and with a TH400 instead of the 700R4. Should be very fast.

Re: Typhoon #1600

the radiator hoses are temporary until the BeCool ones come in. I haven't had the truck down the road too much since the locker and CAL-TRACS....will know soon. The TH400 is a dependability thing. I have a couple of sets of wheels for the truck. I will play with tire sizes (height) to achieve my desired gearing for the trip to Nats. Then, when we get there, I'll throw on the sneakers to get better traction. The WB cables will be mostly under the hood, but are getting routed through the firewall as we speak. More pics as the fabrication continues.

Here's a few more pics of the e-01 boost controller, alkycontrok.com kit, and flush-mount head unit installed. I have some touch-up painting to do, finish installing the runner shifter boot and stuff like that, but coming along to say the least!

Re: Typhoon #1600

still in the tuning phases, but have used them in other engines...they are fantastic. My best friend has a set in his 383....running 442RWHP before the juice.

Re: Typhoon #1600

I've only used them in european cars. They do take a beating. I'll probably go that route on my next engine.

Re: Typhoon #1600

I've liked them for years, and didn't necessarily want to go the same route (SRP's or TRW's), and I know they perform. In my eyes, worth the money for the quality product they are.

Alex, did you make that center console top and does the B&M and does the gear selector plate fit?
