On my old Ty I had 3" single stainless pipes coming out of both sides in front of the back tires. It looked nice but they would scrape alot.

Matt, that looks slick. Great Job!. Alot cleaner than my setup. How hard was it to do?
I chose the easy way and went under the frame. I had to lower it and stagger the tips, to make it look right.

I have a plan.I'm gonna take mine to an exhaust place and have them mock it up off the DP and take it to the outside of the frame,then exit behind the door.

I have no idea where to find an exhaust tip like this style tho.

gibson makes them, summit carries them, heres a link.

The tips I have are made by Magnaflow:
Specs: Stainless, Polished, Straight/Rolled Edge, 2.25 in. Inlet, 2 x 8 in. Outlet,11 in. Long,Pair. Part number MPE-35150

thanks guys. i was really worried it wasnt going to come out right. i hate cutting wholes in things. i picked up the tip from a local 4x4 shop for $25. dirt cheap i think, so i haaaad to use it. lol. is sits right above the frame, it really worked out great

Wow! That's a steal, I seen that tip online go for over $200.
So you didn't have to cut the frame just the cladding?

somone may have some pics of my truck from the nats back in 02 when it had the exhaust coming through the frame and exiting just below the cladding.. I know i got some pics probably on my old Mac or something. On the sy's there is a bump in the frame that is perfect for side exhaust and allows you to keep everything up high.. On the ty's you either need to use some oval/rectangle tubing or go through the frame.. I think dabney also had a side exit on his typhoon with some thin rectangular looking tip.

Going through the frame is no big deal.. We just cut a 3.5" hole and re-inforced it with some steel plate.

BTW, MATY111 your exhaust looks really slick. I like it.
